Insync Funds Management & Katana Asset Management Jointly Appoint Damen Purcell


Insync Funds Management and Katana Asset Management have jointly announced today the senior appointment of Mr Damen Purcell to lead the distribution of their funds in the Australian Market.

He has over 20 years’ experience in the industry with Colonial First State, JANA Investment Advisers and Ausbil Dexia and most recently RF Capital. Prior to RF Capital Damen was the Head of Distribution at Australian Unity Investments.

Insync Funds Management Chief Executive Officer, Mr Garry Wyatt said “We are delighted to appoint someone of Damen’s calibre experience demonstrable track record in raising capital for the major asset classes. This is a key addition for both firms in bolstering our growth aspirations”.

Katana Asset Management Portfolio Manager, Mr Romano Sala Tenna went on to say, “Damen has some very strong relationships and abilities in building flows for boutique managers combined with great depth of experience across Australian and Global Equities.”
